The at-home euthanasia service that Sunset Pets gifts to pet owners is second to none. From the initial enquiry to the aftercare of our beloved Bruce, Dr Ben and the team surpassed the highest standards of care. Their genuine compassion, empathy and respect were palpable the moment they arrived; their care and professionalism unwavering throughout the whole process. They enveloped us in safety and peace of mind, treating Bruce and our family with so much love, ensuring we had all the time we needed to say goodbye. The process itself was seamless and we truly felt taken care of by the team. It was an extremely precious gift to be able to release Bruce from his pain at our home without any stress. We have so much love and respect for the work carried by Dr Ben and the team; they are the people you want by your side during this time when you're barely hanging on, because you can be certain they will catch you. We highly recommend Sunset Pets to anyone and everyone who needs to go through this heartbreaking procedure. While they can't take away the pain, they can certainly make it a less painful process for everyone <3

Thank you very much for being there to help us through what was a very emotional time with our beautiful German Shepherd, Nessie. We really appreciate you taking the time to talk through the situation and help us to feel more comfortable with the difficult decision we needed to make. You took the time to explain the whole process to us, which let us understand what was going to happen and when. At no time did we ever feel Nessie was distressed, with your home service allowing her to leave us in a peaceful way surrounded by those she loved. Thank you for treating Nessie with the upmost respect and care, as if she was your own - we are forever grateful.

Holy moly, where do I begin with Ben. Ella was what I called my soul dog, I lost her to a brain tumour causing reoccuring seizures at 11.5 years old. She had a hell of a life! Was always by my side, never out of sight, and forever on my mind. My first baby. Ben came to my home as I was lucky enough to get her stable to do so, after spending a night in ICU heavily medicated. It was less than a 24hr period from meeting Ben to having him there with me and my family in Ella's last moments of her life. I said to my Fiancé "we need to keep her good until Ben can come, I don't want anyone else to do it" he agreed and that's what we did. From the moment I met Ben I knew he had mine and Ella's best interest at heart. When going over her options, there was no pressure, well explained solutions, all options laid out, with time to process, all of which were filled with the kindest words, knowing the position we were in. The entire process from start to finish, was kind, caring, thoughtful, and the after period was much the same. All of the paperwork for her cremation was arranged, as well as drop off and I had her back to me within 2 weeks - back at home watching over her family. I'm so glad I chose Ben to send my girl over the rainbow bridge. In a time like this, all you need is support and Ben did that, with the utmost respect and kind heart. Forever thankful for what you do.

One of life's hard choices is when to put your pet to sleep. Sometimes we can have the sense that its coming when they are old and loosing their quality of life, other times it can be made from circumstances beyond our control. Whatever the reason having Ben come to my home to put my old girl to sleep was probably one of the most comforting feelings whilst simultaneously having an overwhelming sense of grief at the same time. Knowing she left with dignity, peace and from the comfort of her home made an awfully hard decision better to come to terms with. Ben treated Inga and I with so much compassion and for that I am eternally grateful.

I am unable to put into words just how special our 10 year old Great Dane's send off was tonight. The service delivered and carried out by Sunset Pets was professional and the vets were very conscientious and down to Earth. They helped to make a difficult time more bearable by guiding us through and ensuring the process ran smoothly. Thank you.

Dear Sunset Pets Team, Words cannot express how grateful we are for your compassionate service during such a difficult time for our family. Thank you for coming to our home at such short notice to help our beloved cat Neo peacefully transition. Because of your kindness, Neo was able to stay in the comfort of his favorite spot (the recliner), surrounded by his family who loved him very much. Ben's gentle nature and the time he gave us to say our goodbyes meant the world to us. It allowed us to grieve and cherish our precious memories with Neo in a way that felt truly respectful and loving. Neo was a cherished member of our family for 16 wonderful years, and he will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We are so grateful that his final moments were peaceful and filled with love, thanks to the care and compassion you provided. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.
